frontline sms code

is there some other module i can use to talk to the instance of openmrs apart from the Rest module?
too bad, mixing swing and thinlets is turning out to be a bad idea. why do we need thinlets anyway?

fifth week of gsoc

i have finally figured out how everything links up with everything else in frontlinesms.it has been an interesting research. reading all the documentation for the libraries used, the documentation was sparse but i think the hunt was worth it.as i like to always say to myself, we always win if we are really committed to what we are doing.
we didnt have the weekly chat with the other team members this week as some of the team members had a conference so it is being pushed to this week. i must say it is a very awesome experience coding for openmrs. i like the team spirit in the community and every one is always willing to help.
for some reason frontlinesms fails to detect my huawei E220 modem on my ubuntu 64 bit box. i have to hack the frontlinesms code to somehow detect the modem.
